The Theme & Burden
That the Dry Bones May Live Again
Ezekiel 37:1–10 reveals God’s burden to restore a people who have become dry, weary, scattered, diminished, and weak — and to raise them again by His Word and His Spirit into a living, envisioned, and empowered army. This is the solemn burden of Convention 2026: a call for the revival army to rise again.
Many in the army have lost their weapons of war. Many have turned back from the battle for souls. Many axes have become dull through compromise, secret sin, worldliness, distraction, bitterness, and careless living. Many who once burned in prayer, fasting, consecration, and holy burden have become cold, distracted, discouraged and spiritually weak.
Watchmen are asleep, soldiers are wounded, and some have left their duty posts to chase personal agenda. Many are physically present in churches, but spiritually absent from the command room of heaven — no longer fighting the good fight of faith, entangled with the affairs of this world.
Yet the Lord is asking again: “Son of man, can these bones live?” This is the cry over TACEF, The African Church, our fellowships, ministers, homes, careers, health, businesses, youths, altars, and individual lives. As the Word of the Lord goes forth and the wind of heaven blows, bones will come together again. Strength will return. Fire will burn. Altars will rise. Soldiers will stand. The army will rise again in Jesus name.
This Convention is a cry for the breath of God, as Ezekiel prophesied over the dry bones.
The Cry of the Army
O weary hearts, receive the touch of His Hand.
O sleeping soldiers, return to your duty post.
O wounded warriors, receive strength from the Lord of hosts.
O feeble knees, stand again. O silent voices, pray again.
O broken ranks, align again. O TACEF, arise as a revival
army.
Let the watchmen wake. Let the altars burn again.
Let revival return. Let our hearts be on fire for God.
Let The African Church live again. Let the exceeding
great army take over territories for God.
