Preparing for Convention 2023: A Guide for Participants

As we eagerly anticipate this year’s convention, we are thrilled to inform you that both physical and spiritual preparations are crucial for this extraordinary encounter.

The following information will help you make the most of this special event:

  • Expectations: Prayerfully reflect on the areas of your life, career, family, and spirituality that you desire the fullness of Christ. Set clear goals to focus on, and be determined to touch Jesus and maximize the benefits of this convention. Romans 12:2
  • Study and Reflect: Familiarize yourself with the convention theme and delve deeper into its meaning. Engage in spiritual exercises related to the convention, and be prepared to abide by instructions and insights that will be revealed. 2 Tim 3:15-17, Deut 11:18
  • Have an Open Heart and Mind: Do away with any preconceived notions, judgments, or preferences towards specific sections or ministers. Instead, direct your attention toward God and be open to embracing the light of His word that will expand your understanding and deepen your connection with the Lord. Matt 5:6, Jer 17:10
  • Early Planning: This convention holds special significance, so it is essential to plan. Ensure that you obtain the necessary permission from work or school, and make the necessary arrangements.

Creating a checklist will help you stay organized and ensure that you have all the essential items, such as pens and notepads. Luke 14:28-30

  • Giving: You can also get the best of this convention by sowing into this Convention fertile ground and cultivating the of not coming to the house of your Father empty-handed, sowing a seed in order to reap multiple harvests.
  • Obedience to Instructions: Pay careful attention to instructions that will be given throughout the convention and strive to follow them wholeheartedly. Remember, partial obedience is tantamount to disobedience. John 14:15, Prov 15:33
  • Avoid Distractions and Be Present: Minimize distractions during the convention and fully participate in all the sessions. By being fully present, you will connect the transformative power of The Word, intense prayers, seminars, Holy Ghost impartations, one-on-one counseling, career development sessions, and many other inspiring activities.
